You are a “BLUE”

Here we go again, tryin’ to keep on track with so many hats. When you wear as many hats as myself, it is extremely hard to keep track of which hat to wear on what day and with what task….and more often than not you will catch me wearing more than one hat at a time. The struggle is real 😉 Through it all, I have spent too much time thinking about what I want to do, and just not enough time “DOING”. So I decided the best place to start is here, now, wanting to reconnect with all of you. I recently took a “what color expresses you?” questionaire. Silly – maybe, but their is something to be said about all those mindless (at least until we take one) quizes posted by friends and friends of friends on facebook….

In honor of HUMP day

So here’s the thing, I dont like to complain and I don’t think I ask too much……I just want five freakin minutes of peace!! I have been battling this new crazy schedule of cranky baby in the day, getting absolutely nothing accomplished except making baba and finding the binkie (pacafier) my son loves to throw under the couch all day. Once my husband gets home from work all I can think is WHERE DO I START! Not only do I have my work that I get paid for to catch up on, before anyone figures out I haven’t completed it all day…..but my house is a freakin disaster. I finally got to the dishes and laundry yesterday. The livingroom and bedroom were glowing on Monday. What goes on in this house that I can not keep it clean for one…

To be or NOT to be…..Offended?

So as a new mommy, I admit that I do not have many other mommy friends with children the same age. Most have children 3yrs and up or no children at all. I know that this will all change once my son starts going to some sort of school, but in the meantime, we take what we can get. When my son was first born, I was happy to re-kindle a friendship from past with a new mommy to a little boy only 2 months older than mine. Niether of us were working so we would have playdates almost every day. Once my friend got a job, we really didn’t get to see each other. The phone calls and texts became fewer and longer inbetween, then stopped all together. Not in a bad way, just in a I’m busy kinda…

Casapulla’s South – Rehoboth Beach, DE

I don’t typically blog about local places, it’s not that I don’t want to aid with some friendly free advertising, it’s that there really isn’t anything around that thrills me. Especially in the food industry being as I feel just about everywhere you go is the same – bad food that’s over-seasoned so that your taste buds think you’re eating something somewhat delicious. However, this is not the case for Casapulla’s South in Rehoboth Beach, DE.  Sean and I eat there regularly when we’re in DE, we would be there at least once a week while we lived down here, and we’ve gone about 4 times since we’ve come back down for our visit. Granted, we were only supposed to be here for two weeks but wound up staying for a full month – but ehh, things happen. My reason…

Long time, no post.

I haven’t updated here in quite some time and it’s completely due to the fact that my life offline is dramatically different than it was in the past.  I now have the time to finally sit down and blog since I’ve gotten used to my new schedule.  I’m working full time hours during the week and on the weekends I always seemed to be busy doing other things so sitting down to update a blog was never really worth it to me.  I do have some more time now though.  It’s my goal to begin making some drastic changes here in upcoming weeks.  I do not care about the paid blogging world anymore – I went out and got a real job instead of sitting on my ass talking about products that I’ve never actually used before.  There will still…

You don’t own me…

Today I came across something pretty interesting. The topic of stem-cell research is a hot-blooded issue with many people, none of which who seem to care about the female’s perspective of things. Men are too thrown into the world where they think they own everything, when it comes to the female body – however – the issue is much larger and females don’t seem to be at liberty to discuss it openly. This goes back to the Neanderthal times when women were supposed to obey and the men ruled the world. Well, to be honest, screw you if you think like that. So where’s this coming from? I came across a website for Cryo-Cell Innovative Stem Cell Solutions and I have to say that I whole-heartedly 100% agree with their logic. It’s a very simple logic too, Cryo-Cell’s “Protect Baby,…

In the market…

I’ve finally decided on the route I’m going to take when it comes to picking up a new cell phone within the next couple of months.  For a while I was really leaning towards the Apple iPhone but I’m starting to believe that it’s more or less just a fad that’s eventually going to pass. However, the iPhone knock-off’s really aren’t that bad.  I’ve been shopping around and I’m thinking of going with either the Samsung Glide or the LG Dare, hosted by Verizon of respectively.  While many people dislike Verizon, I have to say that my experience with them in the past wasn’t half bad. I had a two year contract with them and my phone really didn’t have a vast amount of excess features that I would never use.  My only issue was in regards to text messaging….

New Spam?

I’ve been through numerous blogging platforms over the years but none of them have continued to impress me the way WordPress has. Their built in spam options have proven to be a pretty cool deal but even their spam options are no match for the new series of spammers on the internet.  I’m unsure of their official name but I call them the copy and pasters.  They come to your website, copy a line of YOUR blog article and paste it into the comments section of your forms.  They then go through the task of writing their name, email and url to publish the comment.  This way they figure they can get past the spam blockers.  What many people don’t realize about all of my websites is that all comments are held in moderation until I approve them myself.  Why?…

Skimping & Saving

With a very small balance in my bank account I’ve been taking my limited resources and still managing to maintain a clean environment.  I’m to the point where I’m low on supplies such as bleach, toilet bowl cleaners, sponges, detergent, fabric softener and other basic supplies.  So what do you do?  Go to Walmart and hope to bring home the cheapest items on the shelf just to get the job done?  NO! – You go to the local Dollar Tree and pick up all of your supplies for $1 a piece.  The reason I love this store is everything is actually a dollar.  It’s not like the $0.99 cent stores that you walk into where the only thing that’s $0.99 is a piece of candy.  No, you can pick up everything from cleaning supplies to school supplies and purchase these…

Doom and Gloom

The past couple of days have been on the “blah” side.  I know that isn’t really a descriptive term but it’s the only way to really give you the general feel of how things are going.  It’s been raining for the past four days (on and off) and it’s beginning to take it’s toll on just about everyone.  It’s hard to want to stay awake when there’s no sun shine to keep your attention, you know?  Sure, I’ve done A LOT of cleaning over the course of the last couple of days but that still doesn’t balance out the lack of time I’ve been able to spend outside because of all the wind and the rain.  Thankfully the system will be moving out of the area for a couple of days but there’s another one behind it.  I guess the…
