Late Starts

For the past few days I’ve found myself going to bed later and waking up much later than I ever have in the past.  It’s now a little after 2:30 pm and I’m just starting my day after waking up a half hour ago.  I hate being on this schedule.  I go to sleep every night with a headache because the bulk of my work is done with just a side lamp next to me.  I don’t ever have any eye headache problems when I work straight through the day.  In about 3 hours the sun is going to set which means I’ll have maybe 5 hours of darkness next to a lamp that is going to bring up another bad headache that will knock me out by 2am.  I did lay down to go to bed around 1:30 last night, which is reasonable because 8 hours of sleep would have me up by 9:30 am and that’s just a great time to start my eday.  Looking at the ceiling while cringing in pain until 5am this morning had me knocked out until 2am.  That’s well over 8 hours of sleep, but I’m still exhausted.

Hopefully Sean will come back from his errands with good news.  He’s depositing some checks, stopping at the market for me and then picking up the mail on the way home.  I’m hoping to see a letter from HSBC the second he walks in the door.  Then we know that the car is going to be fixed, and we’ll be heading up to NY this upcoming weekend.  I can’t wait, I want to get into my own place so badly.  The waiting period on paperwork can really be the hardest part of moving.  Just having the bank finalize everything is taking a lot longer than expected.  It’s only been about two weeks but it feels more like two months.

Waiting sucks.
