Cliffside Malibu

Everyone knows that drug addiction is a major problem.  Living in the US, you only hear about the problems Nation wide, but in reality it’s a world-wide problem and these days it’s a part of almost every household.  I’m not saying that you’re 14 year old is smoking cocaine, but with the rise of addictive medication in house holds over the course of the last 20 years, I’m sure there’s something in your medicine cabinet that is magically starting to disapear, and you don’t quite understand why.  We’re living in a new age, it’s not about illegal narcotics – prescription medication is just as deadly if in the wrong hands.  Drug abuse puts an unworkable strain on America’s criminal justice system, America’s healthcare system and even America’s social services system.  Thousands of American’s die each year due to drug overdoses.  Parents, children, brothers, sisters, husbands and wives are all effected by these losses.

A resource that’s come to my attention recently has been Drug Rehab in Malibu.   Cliffside Malibu is a residential drug rehabilitation, alcohol rehabilitation, addiction treatment, and detox center located in Los Angeles, California.  Based on the images I’ve seen of this place, it’s not your run of the mill rehabilitation center.  It looks more like a vacation destination considering the gorgeous house on on wonderful property with a massive pool.  They’re focus is to cleanse your body of all of the drugs in your system and get you working towards living a normal and healthy life through diet and exercise.  It doesn’t stop there though, there’s also counseling and many other methods that have been used throughout rehabilitation centers all over the world.

If you live in the California area, they’re worth checking out.  If you don’t, and you or a loved-one needs help with any kind of an addiction, do a search through your local news paper, even if you just thumb through your phone book.  Trust me, you’ll find something to get all of the help available.
